I have sadly been nursing a bad cold/flu (which is why I apologize for the pause in posting!), but I’m finally feeling better and took this break to give my hair and skin some r&r too. I realized it had been quite a while since I had gone completely makeup and hair product-free. Being a sniffling shut-in this past week, I used it to my advantage to wipe everything off from my head to my toes. I’m sharing my favorite items to have stashed in the house when you’re not feeling too hot.
Kneipp Herbal Bath Cold & Sinus Relief – A capful of this stuff will have you breathing easier and there’s nothing like a warm bath to relax tense muscles.
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Masque – The cooling gel is moisturizing and revives tired skin. It’s gentle enough to place under puffy eyes, and feels amazing when you’re nursing a headache.
Murad Correcting Moisturizer – Constant nose blowing will leave your skin red and cracked. Applying this moisturizer will help keep your skin hydrated and neutralize redness.
Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith’s Menthol & Eucalyptus Balm – My lips get extra dry and cracked when I’m sick, so keeping this little pot next to me at all times is a must. The strong scent also helps clear my nasal passages.
